    Reset command not working

    Hi

I was trying exercises given in the "Customizing your account" section and I typed cat /dev/urandom and pressed ctrl-c after few seconds. I got some garbled up characters. Then I typed reset and pressed enter. But my terminal has not responded to the command. I am not able to type anything on it. Please help me with it.

    Regards
    Neha

    Neha,

We are experiencing network issues since morning. This could be related to that. Please close the lab and re-open it. You should see your terminal emulator again. Typing reset and pressing enter should reset it. In very rare cases if the terminal emulator is totally messed up, then the best idea is to just close it and start a new one .

    Cheers,

    Anup
