    su command

    Hi,

As per slides in "4-4- File & Directory Ownership" , chgrp and chown can be only used by superuser(root).
So, when I used su command then he asked me for
    Password:
and I entered my login password then it did not take it and said incorrect password.
So, how can I become a superuser?

    Thanks

You cannot become superuser on the VMs. We have disabled those.

You could have used chgrp if you belonged to multiple groups, however, that is not the case in the VM. So, you cannot use these commands.
